When you are responsible for making dozens of cocktails in a shift then you need a Hawthorne strainer that is up to the challenge. This Mezclar Copper coated Hawthorne strainer has been meticulously designed to withstand constant use. The entire body is made from a heavy gauge stainless steel that is coated in copper and is much thicker and sturdier than the steel normally used for a Hawthorne strainer. The spring has much tighter coils than you would usually find, helping to filter more objects out of the cocktail when decanted into a glass although it is still recommended to use a final fine mesh strainer for the best results. The strainer has been specifically designed to fit standard shakers and creates a snug fit with almost 360° filtration. Fits a standard Boston glass.
